Valerie Constance Christensen

Valerie (Val) Constance Christensen was born on August 21,1941 in Leicester, UK to Joseph and Nora (White )Smith.  In England, Valerie worked as a nurse.Val moved to the United States on February 14,1962, with her husband and daughter. They settled in Pittsburgh. She went on to have three more daughters in the States. Val worked in the service industry for 30 years. She was an avid reader and loved all four footed friends.

She is survived by her four daughters, Jane Fetsick, Alison Franciscus, Susan (Robert) Floyd and Lesley (Dave) Wells. Her sister Margaret Cave. Her grandchildren, Jessica Livingston, Brittany Franciscus, Christopher Pickett, Adam Franciscus, Jennifer Pickett and Emma Wells. Grandchildren by marriage Robert Floyd. Her great grandchildren Brett Pickett, Audriana Pickett , Tyler Dennett, Alec Livingston, Cayden Livingston and Kinsley Locke.  Plus several nephews.

Val was preceded in death by her husband Carl B. Christensen, her mother and father. One sister Eileen Smith.

Val's family would like to thank the ladies and gentlemen at Quality Life Services of Chicora, who cared for this beautiful lady until her passing.
