Venson M. "Ted" Toy

Venson M. "Ted" Toy, 100, of Adrian, passed away Sunday August 10, 2025 at home. He was born November 26, 1924 in Sherrett to the late Wilbert J. and Sara (Bowser) Toy. Ted was a tool and die maker. He served in the South Pacific in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War Two. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Ted enjoyed doing handyman work and woodwork. 

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Venson was the last surviving member of his family and is preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers Harold, Herman, Audley, Ronald, and John; 5 sisters Alene, Blanch, Mary, Wilda, and Sally; 1st wife Juanita (Gallaway) Toy; his dog "Babe"

Friends will be received at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning on Thursday August 14, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at noon with Pastor Jimmy Edwards officiating. Interment is in the Kittanning Cemetery.
