Vernon D. Steele, 85, of Slate Lick died on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Quality Life Services-Sugarcreek
He was born on January 10, 1937 in Butler, PA to the late Leslie & Ethel Steele.
He was a greens keeper for 2 different golf courses.
Vernon liked to hunt, trap, and we believe he enjoyed cutting firewood, LOL.
Vernon was a loving father to
Sons- Dale C. Steele & Michael A. Steele
Daughter- Melanie M. Witmer and companion Lenny McGuire
Also left behind to cherish his memory are his grandchildren; Dawson & Shawnee
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear Street, Worthington, PA 16262 from 4:00-8:00pm. Burial in Slate Lick Cemetery will be held at a future date.
