Viola "Vie" Georgette Toy, 66, of Ford City, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at home.  She was born March 10, 1959, in Kittanning, to the late George Reed and Mabel E. (Wilhelm) Toy.  Vie worked at Sheetz in Kittanning, for 20 years and Ford City Shop 'n Save. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling the dogs at her apartment, doing puzzles, gambling on scratch offs, crocheting, playing Mahjong and watching the Game Show Network.

Vie is survived by her son, Joshua R. Toy, of McGrann; special nieces, Cindy Underwood and Heather Beckett; and numerous other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Marie Toy; her parents; brothers: Laird, Sidney and Robert Shotts; sisters: Alice Dunmire, Patricia Corbett, Amanda Shotts, Gloria Jean Toy and Louella McNabb; sister-in-law, Bea Shotts; brothers-in-law, Luke Corbett and Chuck McNabb; and fiancé, Andy Stull.

Vie fought three different types of cancer since 2012.

Friends will be received from 3 p.m. on Monday Feb. 23, 2026, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, until the time of a funeral service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Johns officiating.
