Virgie Marie (Kilgore) Crawford

Virgie Marie (Kilgore) Crawford, 84, of Worthington, passed away Saturday December 6, 2025 at home. She was born October 5, 1941 in North Buffalo Township to the late Virgil and Myrtle (Claypoole) Kilgore. Virgie lived in the area her whole life and retired from Moonlight Mushrooms. She is of the Protestant Faith.

She had a very warm, tender, loving spirit and had a special gift for making everyone who came to know her feel loved and special. She loved playing cards and doing crossword puzzles, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years Robert F. Crawford of Worthington, whom she married December 15, 1963; son Michael A. (Melissa) Crawford of Alaska; daughter Robin (Scott) Anthony of Ford City; granddaughter Paige (Logan) Duyck of Montana; granddaughter Marlee Daley of Belle Vernon; grandson Mitchell Daley of Belle Vernon; sister Janice (Wayne) Kilgore-Berridge-Smith; brothers Walter Kilgore and Harley (Diane) Kilgore.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Myrtle Kilgore; son Allan Robert Crawford; brothers Daniel Kilgore, Donald Kilgore, William Kilgore I., George Kilgore, and R. Eugene Kilgore; sisters Linda Cole and Cordelia Yapp.

Friends will be received on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
