Virginia Carol (Dimmitt) Pyle, 80, of Ford City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, at Quality Life Services-Sugarcreek. She was born Jan. 2, 1944, in Norfolk, England, to the late Arthur B. "Mike" and Audrey G. (Crowe) Dimmitt. She worked as a clerk for the Shawmut Company and at ACMH Hospital as a switch board operator. Virginia was a graduate of Kittanning High School class of 1961 and a member of the National Honor Society. Virginia was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her wonderful companion, Thomas Humenick, of Ford City; sister, Karen (David) Wolfe, of Manorville; brother, William (Marsha) Dimmitt, of Kittanning; sister, Grace (James) Dietz, of Virginia; nephew, Brook (Michelle) Wolfe, of Maryland; niece, Courtney Wolfe, of Pittsburgh; niece, Christine Dietz, of Virginia; niece, Erika Dietz, of Virginia; niece, Ashley Bullers, of Kittanning; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Audrey, Phoebe, Victor and Jonathan Wolfe and Mason and Addalyn Bullers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her spouse, Thomas Pyle, who passed away in 1986.
Services are private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
