Virginia Rose (Hylton) Schultz

Virginia Rose (Hylton) Schultz, 95, of Applewold, passed away Saturday March 25, 2023 at home. She was born June 26, 1927 in Dott, West Virginia to the late Watson and Pearl Hylton.

She lived in the area for the past 68 years and retired as a beautician after working many years at Hazels in Kittanning. She received her beautician license in September of 1966.

Virginia is survived by a son Larry Schultz of Kittanning; grandchildren Ashley Derstine of Coral Springs, FL and Phillip (Angela) Schultz of West Leechburg; great grandchildren Gracie, Braden, Laney, and Cooper Derstine and Demi and Dax Schultz; sister Mary Sarver of Virginia; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eddie Schultz in 2009; daughter Dianna Ritchey in 1976; son Roger Schultz in 2018; daughter in law Karen Schultz in 2022; several brothers and a sister.

Services for Virginia will be private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral home in Kittanning. Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassion and guidance.
