Wanda Marlene (Houser) Hess

Wanda Marlene (Houser) Hess, 75, of Ringgold, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at her home.  She was born December 14, 1949 in Rayburn Township, Kittanning to the late William Tobias and Freda Virginia (Aikins) Houser.  She was a retired Dental Assistant.  She was a member of Dora Evangelical Church and she enjoyed gardening, sewing and lots of other crafts.  She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her husband, Glenn L. Hess; son, Larry James John; daughter, Vickie Sue John; grandson, James Carol John; granddaughter, Brandi Leigh Grates; grandson, Christopher Bryan McNeely; granddaughter, Jessica Marie McNeely; granddaughter, Melissa Nicole Rhoads; great-granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn McNeely, along with sixteen others.  In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.  Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Dora Evangelical Church, 2547, Dora Timblin Rd., Punxsutawney, Pa. 15767.  Funeral services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, with Rev. Wayne Taylor officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, Pa.  Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, Pa.
