Wanetta Mae (Mangus) Mechling

Wanetta Mae (Mangus) Mechling, our Loving Mother, passed away on Monday May 23, 2022, in ACMH Hospital at the age of 83.  She was born on March 19, 1939, in Kelly Station to the late Frank and Mae Mangus.  Wanetta was a homemaker and member of Christ Rupp Lutheran Church in Kittanning Township. She enjoyed bingo and puzzle books. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog, Buddy. 
 

Left behind to forever cherish her memory includes son, Thomas (Melissa) Mechling, of Kittanning; son, Logan Mechling, of Kittanning; daughter, Theresa (Rick) Lamison, of Kittanning; son, Tim (Tina) Mechling, of Kittanning; daughter, Melanie Mechling, of Kittanning; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Darlene Huff, of Butler.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. “Tucker” Mechling; brothers, Richard, Harry, Linford and Arlie Mangus; and granddaughters, Shanna Mechling and Heather Lamison. 
 

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Curt Sirwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Christ Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery.
