William R. Anderson

William R. "Bill" Anderson, 72, of Kittanning, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home.  He was born December 18, 1951 in Kittanning to the late Charles and Mildred (Craft) Anderson.  Bill worked at the Kittanning Bakery while in high school and then for Five Rubber as well as for Walmart in maintenance.  He enjoyed gardening, landscaping and baking.  He also loved animals.  

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Clara (Bennett) Anderson; daughter, Aubrey Anderson and fiance, Jeremy Seibert, of Kittanning; sisters, Leona Faber, of Kittanning and Shirley (Calvin) Crissman, of Mosgrove; sisters-in-law, Sandy Anderson, of Widnoon and Ida Bennett, of Kittanning; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Anderson; brothers, Charles Anderson, Paul Anderson and Incel Anderson; sister, Marty Bruner; baby sister Anderson; sister-in-law, Sis Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Charles Bruner, Harold Faber and Charles Bennett.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Molgaard officiating.  Interment will be in Homewood Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bill's honor to Kittanning Hose Co. #6 EMS, 108 Mulberry St., Kittanning, PA 16201.
