William R. Boltz, 91, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday June 7, 2025 at Concordia Rehab in Cabot. He was born December 13, 1933 in East Brady to the late Addison Foster and Edna Emma (Thompson) Boltz. William was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for T.W Phillips Gas and Oil in Butler and Baker Gas in Worthington. He served in the United States Army and was a member of St. Paul's Community Church in Chicora. William was a volunteer fireman at Worthington-West Franklin Fire Department.
He enjoyed square dancing with the Alamo Squares in Frogtown; he loved to work with metal and had a shop. He also built go carts, dune buggies, small cannons, all kinds of engines, and just about anything else made from metal that was needed or wanted. He actually made a piece that flew on Space Hab. He loved to golf, snowmobile, and fix just about anything.
He is survived by his son Timothy (Jackie) Boltz of Merritt Island, Fl; daughter Pam (Rick) Baldwin of Huntsville, TX; brother Foster (Dede) Boltz Jr. of Kittanning; brother Ronnie (Candy) Boltz of Butler; brother-in-law Dusty (Joni) Steiner of Cowansville; brother-in-law Dennis (Sandy) Steiner of Cowansville; brother-in-law Mike (Pam) Steiner of Cowansville; sister-in-law Kay Montgomery of Kittanning; grandson Clayton Baldwin of Huntsville, Tx; grandson Jon Boltz of Merritt Island, Fl; grandson Sam Boltz of Merritt Island, Fl; granddaughter Rayma (Claire) Baldwin of Sugarland, TX; great-grandson Ezra Baldwin of Sugarland, TX; many nieces, nephews, and tons of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Teressa Ann "Tiny" (Steiner) Boltz.
A graveside service will be held for William on Friday June 13, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Chicora with Rev. Frank Sapp Jr. officiating.
