William Wallace Delp Jr.

William "Dopey" Wallace Delp Jr., 68, of Kittanning, died on Monday Oct. 30, 2023 in ACMH Hospital.

He was born on March 21, 1955 in Kittanning to the late William W. Delp Sr. & Catherine Marie (Hilliard) Delp.

William was a lifelong resident of the area and a retired truck driver for Wayne W. Sell Corp after 37 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, reading car magazines, motorcycles, going shopping and going to eat breakfast on Saturday mornings.

William was a great father and grandfather, he would help whoever needed it. He loved to donate to the veterans, humane society, St. Jude etc. William had a good sense of humor if you knew how to take it.

He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory , daughter Susan Dennis of WV, daughter, Billie Jo (Robert) Holly of Kittanning, son, Thomas Delp of WV, daughter, Jennifer (Casey) Meyers of OH, step daughter, Brandi Shankle of Kittanning, step daughter, Nichole (Jenn) Amerson of Chicora, grandchildren, Jacob Dennis, Ashley Dennis, Destiny Dennis, Brandon Holly, Jordon Holly, Darrian Quillin, Calob Sanchez, and Steven Martin, brother Ronald (Karen) Delp of Kittanning, brother, Doug (Deb) Delp of Rural Valley, sister, Terri Townsend of Kittanning, sister, Sherri (Garry) Kutch of Kittanning, sister, Kimberly Smith of North Carolina, brother, Jeff (Kim) Delp of Kittanning, step sister, Joyce Johns of Las Vegas, step sister, Wanda Toven, step brother, Michael Delp of North Carolina, step brother, Brian Delp of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph Delp & Donald Delp.

Family and friends of William Delp will be received on Monday Nov. 6, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of funeral services at 4:00pm in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean Street, Kittanning, PA 16201 .
