William Hart Olinger

William Hart Olinger, 86, of Kittanning, died on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.  He was born June 26, 1939, the son of the late Clifford and Frieda E. Olinger, and he was a lifelong resident of Kittanning.  He was a retired administrator for the VA.  He attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Kittanning.  William enjoyed taking long walks around Kittanning visiting neighbors and friends.  He enjoyed telling stories about history and family memories.  He was a big conversationalist.  Survivors include his nieces and nephews: Gail (John) Avi, Peggy (Larry) Richardson, Patty Olinger, John (Vickie) Olinger, Toni (Rick) Smail, Mary Olinger, Bill (Crystal) Olinger, Barb Tregaskes, Deanna Tregaskes Travers, Fred Tregaskes Jr., Hannah (Jeff) Moore, Kim (Doug) Atherton, Jon Tregaskes and Patty (Trevor) Wonderling; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.  William was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Olinger and mother, Frieda E. Olinger; his brother, John (Delma) Olinger; sister, Frieda (Fred) Tregaskes; and niece, Virginia Olinger (James) Brown.  Friends will be received on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.
