William Charles Kilgore Jr., 59, of Ford City, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 at UPMC Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born June 29, 1962 in Kittanning, a son of William C. and Evelyn M. Kilgore. He was a musician and a constable. William was a USMC veteran, serving in Beirut. He belonged to Kittanning-East Brady Masonic Lodge #244, where he was Worshipful Master. William played the drums in several bands. He loved spending time with family and being a member of the Masons, as well as hanging out with his Beirut buddies.
Left behind to cherish his memory includes his father, William C. Kilgore, of Kittanning; daughters, Anna (Jack) Cooper and Abigail Kilgore; sons, William C. Kilgore III, Jeremy Kilgore, Josh Mills, and Sage (Amanda) Slagle; grandchildren, Arionna Kilgore, Brandon Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Leanne Cooper, and Carlie Unmann; sister, Brenda L. Heilman; brothers, Richard E. (Teri) Kilgore and Brent L. (Mary) Kilgore; his dog, “Layla”; nieces, Carla (Donald) Koffman, Skye Reesman, Kristen Hughes, Breanna (Spencer) Bishop, and Chelsea (Tyler) Kilgore; and nephews, Russell Bishop, Jared (Anna) Kilgore, Jeff Hughes, Christian (Brittney) Meyer, Brent (Paige) Kilgore Jr., Tanner Kilgore, Colt Kilgore, William Shrum, and Blake (Kate) Kilgore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Mae Kilgore; Kimberly Rosencrance; and his grandparents.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. The Rev. Tim Lewis will officiate. Burial with be in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
