William Frank Stover, 88, of Manorville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 15, 2025. He was born August 27, 1936 in Kittanning to the late Edgar Samuel and Carrie Elizabeth (Brown) Stover. 

He was a former wood shop teacher at Kittanning and retired as a self employed land developer. William served in the United States Army and was a member of the Kittanning Elk's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family gatherings. 

William is survived by his wife of 66 years Elsie Carol (Mechling) Stover of Manorville; daughter Julia Ann (Michael) Nortrup, of Nashville, TN; son Matthew Scott Stover of Manorville; grandson Tyler Scott of Saxton, PA; grandson Jason Matthew Stover of Bedford, PA; grandson Milo James (Joaunna) Kusnir of Sewickley, PA; granddaughter Renee Carol Kusnir of Manorville; grandson Brody Stover of Kittanning; granddaughter Samantha Stover of Kittanning; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; sister Joan Smith (Roy deceased) ; brother Charles (Josephine) Stover.

William was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Carrie Stover and his son Jeffrey William Stover.

Friends will be received on Friday July 18, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday July 19, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Larry Edwards officiating with additional visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Kittanning Cemetery.
