Dorothy L. “Dotty” Brison, 87, of Kittanning, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Kittanning Care Center. She was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Leah and Harry Smith. She was a long-time employee at MTW and Big River Manufacturing. She loved music and was a country western singer. Survivors include daughters, Vickie (Gary) Gauker of Ford City and Penny (George) Dunmire of Kittanning; son, Terry L. Brison of Old Town, Fla.; grandchildren, Robert D. (Paula) Yarger of Cadogan; Fred Marrapode (Michell Bruno) of Kittanning; and Angela Brison (Joeleen Cigola); five great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; brother, Ernie Smith of Templeton; sister, Nancy Smith of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gearld Jeffers and Donald L. Jeffers; sister, Janet McKay; grandchildren, Bobbie Renee Goodgazell and Richard L. Yarger. Friends will be received from 2-4 And 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Donald L. Jeffers, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Kellersburg Cemetery.
