Everett G. Williams, 90, of Templeton, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at Kittanning Care Center surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Templeton, to the late George H. and L. Maude (Griffin) Williams. He was a 1944 graduate of Kittanning High School. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps., he served in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. Everett was a member of Templeton Church of God as well as the American Legion in Worthington. For 30 years, he worked at Eljer, retiring in 1974. He was married to Naida L. (Browell) Williams for 46 years. He was a past Chairman of the Republican Party of Armstrong County. Everett enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Survivors include daughter, Susan (Harry) Pritt of Kittanning; grandchildren, Jennifer (Larry) Crispen of Kittanning and Heather (Eric) Puig of Winston, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Kasey and Katelyn Crispen of Kittanning, and Kaiden Puig of Winston; sister, M. Madge (Ronald) Frye of New Brighton, Pa.; and brother, H. Hilton Williams of Florence, S.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naida, who died Nov. 11, 1998; sisters, Nancy Jordan and Mary A. Frailey; and brother, Robert Williams. Friends will be received from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Grimm officiating. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
