Constance Ruth Cogley, 60, of Kittanning, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1956, in Tampa, Fla. to Delbert and Ruth (Zimmerman) Cogley and lived in Rayburn Township since 1958.
Connie was retired from Allegheny Power at the Reesedale plant after 27 years of service, where she served all departments.
She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Kittanning Eagles.
Connie loved motorcycling, especially her Spider when she could no longer manage two wheels. She enjoyed flowers and cooking, and she loved animals. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially around the holidays.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Cogley of Kittanning; sister, Helen Householder Custer (Ray) of Ohio; brothers, Ronald J. Cogley (Donna) of Kittanning and Terry Cogley of Gates, N.C.; sister, Vernetta Bethers (Larry) of Provo, Utah; brother, Delbert Cogley (Chrissy) of Ford City; many special nieces and nephews; and special friends, Terri Shellhammer, Robert Goodgasell, and Wendy George.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Delbert Cogley; sister, Linda Cogley; brother, Robert Cogley; and grandparents, Hobart and Eva Mae Zimmerman and Mervin and Lydia Cogley.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning with Dr. Leon Tolman officiating. Interment will be in Mateer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Connie’s memory to Orphans of the Storm or the American Cancer Society.
