Harold M. “Junior” Bowser, 69, of East Franklin Township, went home on Friday, January 15, 2016 while being surrounded by love and family at home.  He was born in Kittanning on January 16, 1946 to the late Raymond and Helen (Butler) Bowser of Kittanning.  He was a 1963 graduate of Kittanning High School, and a 1966 graduate of Penn State where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering.  Junior worked as an inspector at Senate Engineering of Pittsburgh and was a lifetime member of the East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a Forest Fire Warden since 1974.  He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and loved taking his friends and family (Especially his great grandchildren Geocaching. He has been a member of the Geocaching community since 2006 with 1536 finds.  Loved ones include his sister: Sally (Andy) Early of Florida; daughters: Andrea (Patti Kirk) Bowser of Florida, Mimi (Perry Crissman) Lamison of Kittanning, Sara (Stacy Guthrie) Bowser of New Kensington; son: Harold “Butch” Bowser, Jr. of Kittanning; and niece: Becki (Mileak Ford) Early and Brooklyn and Markayne of Ford City; sister-in-law: Marcella (James) Parks of Texas; and brother-in-law: Morris (Rachel) Wolfe of Texas. Extended family includes Jamie (Kevin) Beers of Kittanning.  Grandchildren include: Cassandra, Sabrina, and Samantha Lamison of Kittanning, and Abbie and Jessie Bowser of NuMine. Extended grandchildren include Tyler and Kolton Crissman of Kittanning.  Great-grandchildren include: Jacob, Mackenzie, Aallyah, Caleb, Xavier, David, and Gabriel.  Extended grandchildren also include Marilyn (Tim) Laird, Crystal (Chris) Potocnak, Katrina Long, and Kiersten Crissman.  Extended great-grandchildren also include Raven, Keeley, Nathan, Tyler, Deanna, Emily, Alexia, My’Anna, and Roman.  Special friends of the deceased include: Eric, Dana, and Hunter Toy of Kittanning.  In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Ann Bowser.  Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning, where services will be held Tuesday at 11AM with the Reverend Edward Walters officiating. Interment will be at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
