Marjorie Ann Cupec, 82, of Kittanning, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Leechburg, a daughter of the late John Henry and Olive Maude (Fink) Mann. She formerly worked at Big River Manufacturing and Altmeyers Care Home. She was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. She loved family and friends, bingo, bowling, cooking, crocheting and gardening. She married George William "Bill" Cupec, Aug. 27, 1949, and they moved from Vandergrift to Kittanning Township in August 1952, where they bought a farm on Sandy Flat Road, where they lived until the last few years until Bill needed to go to Kittanning Care Center, and she moved there alos to be with him. Her husband of 64 years survives her, as well as their children, Diana Tressler, William (Pamela) Cupec, Carol (Mark) Schaub, Sharon (William) Erb and Debora Cupec; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda, who died in 1963; and her siblings, of whom she was the youngest, James, Edward and Earl Mann, Eleanor Stoltz, Lucille Hobbins, Betty Kish and Doris Jean Hetrick. Her wishes and thoughts are for the ones she leaves behind are to pray for peace and happiness to everyone, get along with each other and help one another. Pray to God for forgiveness and I will pray for God to bless you all. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral liturgy at 2 p.m. Saturday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Father Douglas Dorula will celebrate. Interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Vandergrift.
